| Each day two North Carolina families have a child diagnosed with a form of autism. That's nearly 800 families added each year to the 50,000 families in our state already living with autism.
Individuals on the autism spectrum and their families need help and support to be able to be as successful and independent as possible.
Proceeds from the 1st annual Greensboro Run/Walk for Autism support the programs and services of the Autism Society of North Carolina. Examples of those services include: the nation's oldest and largest summer camp for individuals with autism, parent advocacy and mentoring, awareness and education, and one-to-one training.
We appreciate your support and participation. Join us on Saturday, June 13 at the Shoppes at Lindley Park on Spring Garden Street in Greensboro. Regardless of age or ability, you will have a great time while supporting a worthy cause! |
